What are Live Learning Experiences or LLX?
Live Learning Experiences (LLX) make up the "on-site" component of the BSBA curriculum. These are live or face-to-face events that students, taking LLX courses, are required to attend. These main, culminating events will take place 3x - on Weeks 5, 9 and 13 of the 14-weeks per term. There will be multiple runs of the LLX - morning, noon and evening - to align with the current block scheduling.
There are 3 identified main locations at this point - Learning Hub-QC, Learning Hub-BC and Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna in Cabuyao, Laguna. The other locations are still to be determined. We will work to add more locations to serve every BSBA student who needs and wants to participate in LLX. If you are planning to take LLX, please let us know your current location by filling out this BSBA Options Questionnaire, so we may identify a location near you.
LLX events are in the form of talks and seminars, and a showcase of coursework, meant to enrich the learner's understanding, grasp and practical application of the concepts through interactions with industry-practitioners, SMEs, Mentors and Coaches.
Additionally, LLX aim to integrate different and multiple courses of study and subject matters into one event. This is with the intention to remain flexible for the students and those who will be traveling to attend. Students will continue with their classes as planned on the other weeks of the term. These events provide an invaluable opportunity for students to engage with industry experts and collaborate with their peers, facilitating the exchange of insights and knowledge.
LLX will be offered beginning Term 3, SY 23-24.
