This help guide provides detailed information on how to apply for a leave of absence or LOA, including eligibility requirements, the application process, and important considerations.
Taking a leave of absence allows you to temporarily step away from your studies for various reasons, such as personal issues, professional challenges, health concerns, or other significant life events.
It is important to inform MMDC of your planned leave so MMDC can keep your academic records on hand, and your accounts secured in the database. This will also allow a quick and easy return process.
Types of Leave of Absence
- Term Leave (Term LOA): A leave of absence lasting 1 term, which requires notifying MMDC.
- Extended Leave (Extended LOA): A leave of absence of at least 2 terms, which requires submitting a formal application and a fee.

2. Pay the processing fee of P50 via MMDC's payment channels.
