As part of the health services available to MMDC students, we offer the Annual Physical Exam (APE) through partnerships with various laboratories across the Philippines. This benefit is optional but highly recommended to ensure you maintain good health while pursuing your studies. You can choose a laboratory closest to your location for convenience.
Purpose of the Annual Physical Exam:
The Annual Physical Exam is designed to help you stay on top of your health by providing routine checks and identifying any potential health issues early. Regular health assessments are crucial for maintaining overall well-being and ensuring that any medical concerns are addressed promptly.

What's Included in the APE
The APE includes the following routine checks:
- Physical Exam: A comprehensive assessment of your physical health by a medical professional.
- Complete Blood Count (CBC): A blood test to evaluate your overall health and detect a variety of disorders.
- Urinalysis: A urine test to check for infections, kidney problems, and other health conditions.
- Fecalysis: (Optional) A stool test to screen for digestive disorders, infections, and other gastrointestinal issues.
- X-ray: Imaging to detect abnormalities in your chest, bones, or other areas as needed.
- Drug Testing: Optional

You may visit any of our partner laboratories within this period.
How to Schedule Your APE
- Step 1: Choose a Partner Laboratory
- Select a laboratory from our list of partnered facilities closest to your location.
- Step 2: Schedule an Appointment
- Contact the laboratory directly to schedule your exam. Be sure to mention that you are an enrolled student of MMDC.
- Step 3: Fill out and Have your Referral Form Signed
- Download the Referral Form.
- Fill out the referral form with your student information and check the services you would like done.
- Send thee fully-filled out form to your IA via iaservices@mmdc.mcl.edu.ph to have it signed. Expect a 1-day turn-around time. If you sent the referral form today, you should be able to receive the signed form the next day.
- Step 4: Attend your APE at your chosen laboratories
- Bring the signed referral form, and your student ID to your appointment. Follow any pre-exam instructions provided by the laboratory.
- Please be guided by the expected examination flow below:
- Step 5: Receiving and Handling Your Results
- Pick Up Your Results: You will be notified when your results are ready. Please pick them up directly from the laboratory or ccess them online.
- Privacy: Your results are confidential and will only be shared with you. It is your responsibility to maintain the privacy of your medical information.
- Follow-Up: Carefully review your results and follow through with any recommendations provided. If any issues are identified, seek further medical advice and treatment as necessary.

- No, the APE is optional but highly recommended.
- Do I have to pay for the APE?
- The cost is covered as part of the health services benefit for enrolled students.
- What if there are no partner laboratories near me?
- For now, we only have the listed laboratories available. We recommend making arrangements to visit one of these locations. There is continued efforts to expand the network of laboratories all over the Philippines in the coming years.
