When you begin your practicum, the tasks and responsibilities you are assigned at your Host Training Establishment (HTE) must align with the official Training Plan of your program. This plan outlines the expected learning objectives and activities for your internship and ensures that your work contributes meaningfully to your academic and professional development.
Under CHED Memorandum Order No. 104, s. 2017, all internships must have clearly defined and structured learning outcomes that are relevant to your degree program. These are documented in the HTE's Training Plan, which is reviewed and approved as part of the accreditation process.
Important: When proposing an HTE or selecting your preferred company for internship, you must verify that the internship role or scope of work they are offering aligns with the Training Plan for your program. Work that is purely clerical, unrelated to your field, or does not meet the learning outcomes will not be approved.
If the tasks assigned to you during the internship do not match the approved Training Plan, inform your Practicum Advisor immediately so appropriate adjustments can be made.
