Joining the Welcome to MMDC! Learning Program
- Within 1-2 business days after receiving your Camu and Google login credentials, you should receive an email from no-reply@t.mail.coursera.org welcoming you to the Welcome to MMDC! Learning Program.
- Click Join now. You should be redirected to Coursera.
- In Coursera, a "Join the learning program" pop-up will appear. Click Join program.
- After joining the program, you will automatically be moved from the Welcome to MMDC! Learning Program to the program that houses your courses within 5 minutes. You will also be automatically enrolled in your courses for the term.
- Additionally, you will be automatically enrolled in orientation courses or external courses as part of your learning journey. (e.g., Google Sheets)
-
You may also receive a notification stating that you have been removed from the program. Please disregard this message—it is part of the system process. Rest assured, you will still be able to access your courses on Coursera without any issues.
Viewing Your Enrolled Courses in Coursera
To view your enrolled courses in Coursera, go to My Learning. Only the courses listed here are considered part of your official Coursera enrollments. Always check if your enrolled courses in Coursera are aligned with your course load in Camu.
⚠️ Important Notes
If you have courses in Coursera but not in CAMU, you will not earn academic credits for them.
If you have courses in CAMU but are not enrolled in Coursera, you must enroll in them. Otherwise, you risk incurring a grade of 5.00 (Failed) if you are unable to submit the required outputs on both platforms.
Enrolling in a Course
In instances where you were not automatically enrolled in your courses, you may enroll in the course manually.
- Look for the "Assigned to you" section in the learning program.
- Click the course you're enrolled in. On this page, you will see a preview of the course, including its description, module coverage, and instructor information.
- Read the content of the page. Then, click Enroll.
Unenrolling in a Course
If you think you were enrolled in a Coursera course that you did not enroll in, check if you are looking at the right section of your Coursera account. If this is what you're seeing, you are looking at the Year 1 Course Catalog. This lists all the available courses for Year 1, and not necessarily those you are enrolled in.
If you have accidentally enrolled in a course that you are not supposed to take, you may unenroll from the course.
Always refer to your enrolled courses in Camu. The courses you see in Coursera should match the courses in your Camu course load. Note: Only the courses in your Camu course load will be eligible for academic credits.
- To check your enrolled courses in Coursera, go to "My Learning".
2. Click the meatball menu "" and click "Unenroll from Course".
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What should I do if I have not yet received my Coursera login credentials, even if I already have my Camu and Google login credentials?
You should be able to receive your Coursera invitation within 1-2 business days after receiving your Camu and Google login credentials. If not, try to log in to Coursera via Google Single Sign-On (SSO) or by clicking the "Continue with Google" and using your MMDC-issued Learner's Google Email account.
You should be able to click "Log in with Mapua Malayan Digital College".
However, if you are unable to proceed due to an error or issue, please contact your IAs by raising a ticket here.
What if I have Coursera courses but don’t see them in CAMU?
You will not earn academic credits for courses that appear only in Coursera but not in CAMU.
What if I have CAMU courses that I haven’t enrolled in on Coursera?
You must also enroll in Coursera for those courses. If not, you risk receiving a grade of 5.00 (Failed) because submissions are required on both CAMU and Coursera.
I am unable to access a learning program, and the error message is, "No Access: You don't have access to this content. If you need access, please contact your organization admin for assistance."
This error usually occurs when you are trying to access a learning program that is not included in your current course load.
Before submitting a ticket, verify your enrolled courses in MyCamu and check whether the learning program corresponds to a course you are currently taking.
For example:
- General Education (GE) Learning Program – You must be enrolled in a GE course.
- IT Core and Professional Courses Learning Program – You must be enrolled in an IT course.
- Business Administration (BA) Learning Program – You must be enrolled in a BA course.
If the learning program is not related to any course in your current course load, you will not be able to access it.
If you are currently enrolled in the corresponding course but are still unable to access the learning program, please submit a ticket so the IA Team can assist you.
