What is the MMDC Family Discount Program?
The MMDC Family Discount Program provides tuition fee discounts to immediate family members who enroll at Mapúa Malayan Digital College (MMDC) during the same term. It is designed to help families pursue education together while making tuition more affordable.
Who can qualify for the Family Discount?
The program is open to immediate family members of an MMDC student, including:
- Siblings
- Parents
- Children
- Spouse
They must be enrolled in MMDC during the same academic term.
How many family members can receive the discount?
The program allows up to four (4) family members to participate:
- 1 primary enrollee (regular tuition rate)
- Up to 3 additional family members who may receive discounts.
What is the discount structure?
The Family Discount is applied on top of the standard 20% Asenso Discount, resulting in the following total tuition discounts:
- First family member: 20% (Asenso Discount only)
- Second family member: 30% total discount (20% Asenso + 10% Family Discount)
- Third family member: 45% total discount (20% Asenso + 25% Family Discount)
- Fourth family member: 60% total discount (20% Asenso + 40% Family Discount)
Does the discount apply to miscellaneous fees?
No. The Family Discount applies only to tuition fees and does not cover miscellaneous or other school fees.
What are the eligibility requirements?
To qualify, each applicant must:
- Be enrolled in an MMDC program with at least 9 academic units
- Provide proof of relationship through official documents such as a birth certificate or marriage certificate.
What documents are required to apply?
Applicants must submit:
- MMDC Family Discount Program Application Form

- Marriage certificate (for spouse)
Do students need to reapply every term?
Yes. The family discount must be revalidated every term to confirm continued eligibility.
What happens if one family member withdraws from enrollment?
If a qualified family member withdraws or cancels enrollment during the term, the family discount for the affected members may be forfeited for that term.
Can the Family Discount be combined with other scholarships?
The Family Discount cannot be combined with other MMDC scholarships or tuition discounts, except for the Asenso 20% Discount Program.
NextGen Discount Program
What is the MMDC NextGen Discount Program?
The MMDC NextGen Discount Program provides financial assistance to solo parents, children of solo parents, and working youth aged 18–25 who want to pursue college education while managing financial or work responsibilities.
What benefit does the program provide?
Qualified applicants will receive a 30% discount on tuition fees for one term only.
Who can apply for the NextGen Discount Program?
The program is open to new or incoming MMDC students who belong to either of the following groups:
- Solo parents or children of solo parents
- Working youth aged 18–25
What are the eligibility requirements for solo parents or children of solo parents?
Applicants must:
- Have a valid Solo Parent ID
- Provide a PSA-issued document verifying the parent-child relationship
- Belong to a household with monthly income not exceeding ₱25,000
- Enroll in at least 9 units at MMDC
What are the eligibility requirements for working youth?
Applicants must:
- Be 18 to 25 years old
- Have a minimum General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85
- Be currently employed (part-time or full-time)
- Submit a recommendation letter from their employer confirming work ethic and performance
What documents are required to apply?
Applicants must submit:
- MMDC NextGen Discount Program Application Form

- Solo Parent ID or proof of relationship (for solo parent applicants)
- Proof of employment
- Academic records showing required GWA
- Employer recommendation letter
- Proof of income (e.g., ITR, payslip, bank statement, or affidavit of income)
Additional documents may be required depending on employment type (formal or informal).
When will applicants receive the results?
Applicants will be notified within five (5) business days after submitting complete requirements.
Can the NextGen Discount be renewed?
No. The 30% tuition discount is valid for one term only and is non-renewable.
Can the NextGen Discount be combined with other scholarships?
The NextGen Discount cannot be combined with other MMDC scholarships or discounts, except for the Asenso 20% Discount Program.
What happens if enrollment is canceled or not completed?
If a student fails to enroll within the given enrollment period, the NextGen Discount slot may be forfeited and awarded to another qualified applicant.
Since slots are limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis, timely completion of enrollment is strongly encouraged.
YGC–Ayala Employee Promotional Discount Program
What is the YGC–Ayala Employee Promotional Discount Program?
The YGC–Ayala Employee Promotional Discount Program is a special tuition discount offered by Mapúa Malayan Digital College (MMDC) to students whose parent is a regular employee of a YGC or Ayala member company.
What benefit does the program provide?
Qualified students will receive a 25% tuition fee discount per term, which is applied on top of the Asenso Discount.
Who is eligible for this discount?
Students may qualify if their parent is a regular employee of a YGC or Ayala member company listed in the application form.
What documents are required to apply?
Applicants must submit:
- Completed YGC–Ayala Employee Promotional Discount Application Form and Waiver
- PSA Birth Certificate of the student
- Certification from the HR Head confirming that the parent is a regular employee in good standing
How do students apply for the discount?
For NEW Applicants:
- Complete the Online Admissions Application Form
- Submit initial documents through MMDC EnrollMate
- Pass the MMDC Online Readiness Assessment
- Submit required documents including the discount application form and HR certification
- Finalize courses and schedules
- Pay the enrollment fee with the 25% additional tuition discount applied.
For CURRENTLY ENROLLED Students:
- Submit an email to studentfinancialservices@mmdc.mcl.edu.ph expressing your intent to apply for the YGC–Ayala Promotional Discount.
- Submit required documents including the discount application form and HR certification
- Pay the enrollment fee with the 25% additional tuition discount applied.
Can this discount be combined with other scholarships?
No. The YGC–Ayala Promotional Discount cannot be combined with other MMDC scholarship programs, except for the Asenso Discount.
Will the discount still apply if the parent leaves the company?
No. The discount may no longer apply if the employee resigns, is under disciplinary action, or is no longer officially connected with the company covered by the program.
What happens if enrollment is canceled?
If a student does not proceed with enrollment, the discount will not be applied.
Continuing Education Scholarship Program
What is the MMDC Continuing Education Scholarship Program?
The MMDC Continuing Education (CE) Scholarship Program is designed to support working students from partner companies by providing financial assistance to help them pursue a college degree at MMDC.
What benefit does the scholarship provide?
The scholarship covers:
Tuition fees only
Up to a maximum of 45 units
Must be completed within 2 years
How are scholarship slots allocated?
Slots are determined through industry partner nominations:
Each partner may nominate 5 employee-scholars
An additional 1 scholarship slot is granted for every 10 referred enrollees
What are the qualifications for selection?
Applicants must:
Demonstrate good character and work ethic
Pass the MMDC PPC (Projects, Problems, Cases) Readiness Assessment
Be selected by their employer based on performance and potential
What are the maintaining requirements for scholars?
To continue the scholarship, scholars must:
Maintain a Term Weighted Average (TWA) of 2.50 or better
Have no failing grades
Have no disciplinary record
Enroll in at least 6 units per term
Can the scholarship be combined with other scholarship programs?
The CE Scholarship cannot be combined with other MMDC scholarships, except for the Asenso 20% discount.
What happens if enrollment is canceled?
If enrollment is canceled, the number of units initially enrolled will still be deducted from the 45-unit scholarship allocation.
Abanse Negrense 100% Scholarship Program
What is the Abanse Negrense Scholarship Program?
The Abanse Negrense IT and Business Scholarship Program is a partnership between MMDC and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental that provides full-ride scholarships to deserving students in the province.
What does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship provides a full-ride grant, which includes:
Tuition fees and miscellaneous fees
Coverage for the entire duration of the program (up to graduation)
What are the qualifications to be selected?
Applicants must:
Be a resident of Negros Occidental (excluding Bacolod)
Be an incoming freshman
Be willing to render volunteer service for the Provincial Government
How long is the scholarship valid?
The scholarship is valid from first year until graduation, provided all requirements are met.
What are the maintaining requirements for scholars?
Scholars must:
Maintain a TWA of 2.50 or better
Have no failing or dropped subjects
Enroll in a full load each term
Follow MMDC rules and regulations
Have no disciplinary record
What happens if a scholar fails to meet the requirements?
Failure to meet academic, behavioral, or service obligations may result in sanctions or loss of the scholarship, as determined by the Provincial Government and MMDC.
Abanse Negrense Partial Scholarship Program
What is the Abanse Negrense Partial Scholarship Program?
The Abanse Negrense Partial Scholarship Program is a financial assistance initiative by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental in partnership with MMDC, designed to support students while requiring a shared financial contribution.
What does the scholarship cover?
Under the partial scholarship model:
The Provincial Government covers up to ₱15,000 per term for tuition, laboratory, and miscellaneous fees
Any amount beyond ₱15,000 per term will be shouldered by the student (grantee)
What are the qualifications to be selected?
Applicants must:
Be a resident of Negros Occidental (excluding Bacolod)
Be an incoming freshman
Be willing to render volunteer service for the Provincial Government
How long is the scholarship valid?
The scholarship is valid from first year until graduation, provided all requirements are met.
