How to Identify Your Intake Year
How do I know my intake year? Your intake year is the school year and term when you first enrolled in the BSIT program. For example, if your first term in BSIT was SY 2026–2027, Term 1, then your BSIT intake year is SY 2026–2027.
Your curriculum plan is based on your BSIT intake year, which is the school year when you officially entered the BSIT program.
-
If you shifted programs, your intake year is based on when you started BSIT, not your original MMDC enrollment.
Example: If you first enrolled at MMDC as a BSBA student in SY 2022–2023, but shifted to BSIT and started the BSIT program in SY 2026–2027, then your BSIT intake year is SY 2026–2027. You should follow the curriculum plan that corresponds to your BSIT intake year.
- For MMCL Shifters: If you were originally admitted to MMCL in SY 2022–2023 but shifted to MMDC BSIT in SY 2026–2027, your applicable curriculum plan is based on your MMDC BSIT intake year (SY 2026–2027). You must follow the SY 2026–2027 BSIT Curriculum Plan.
Will My Curriculum Change If the Current School Year Is Different From My Intake Year?
No. Your curriculum plan is fixed based on your intake year, not the current school year.
Even if the current SY is 2027–2028, you will still follow the curriculum plan assigned to your intake year (SY 2026–2027) for the duration of your program, unless there are officially approved curriculum updates applied to your batch.
