Overview
This article explains how to access Help Center documents using your MMDC learner Google account and what to do if you see an access error.
Some Help Center links lead to documents that are shared only within the MMDC Google environment. To open these files successfully, you must be signed in using your MMDC-issued Google account.
Step 1: Make Sure You’re Signed In to Your MMDC Google Account
To access shared documents, you must be logged in to your MMDC learner email (example: lr.jdelacruz@mmdc.mcl.edu.ph).
How to Sign In
- Open your browser and go to www.google.com.
-
Click Sign in.
- Enter your MMDC learner email and password.
- Once signed in, your MMDC account will be active and ready to access shared files.
Tip:
You can confirm you’re logged in by checking the profile photo in the upper-right corner of your browser. Make sure it’s your MMDC learner account, not a personal Gmail account.
Why This Matters
Help Center documents are restricted to MMDC accounts for privacy and security.
If you’re signed in using a personal Google account, you may see an “Access Denied” message. This usually means the document is working correctly—you just need to switch to your MMDC account.
Step 2: Open the Shared Link
Once you’re signed in to your MMDC account:
- Click the link provided in the Help Center article.
- The document should open automatically if permissions are set correctly.
- Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides will open in the appropriate Google app.
If the file still doesn’t open, continue to the next step.
Step 3: Use Your MMDC Email When Requesting Access
If you need to request access to a document:
- Make sure the request is sent from your MMDC learner email.
- Requests sent from personal Gmail accounts cannot be granted access.
Reminder:
Always use your school-issued email when interacting with MMDC documents and systems.
Helpful Tips to Avoid Access Issues
- Check that you’re logged in to your MMDC account before opening links.
- Consider creating a separate browser profile for school use to avoid account mix-ups.
- Keep personal and school accounts signed in under different browser profiles.
Optional: Create a Separate Browser Profile (Recommended)
Creating a dedicated browser profile for school helps prevent access errors.
Example: Google Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Click your profile icon.
- Select Add to create a new profile.
- Name it something like “MMDC School”.
- Sign in using your MMDC learner email.
After setting this up, use this profile when accessing Camu and Help Center links.
Need More Help?
If you’re still unable to access a document after following these steps, submit a request through the Help Center so the appropriate team can assist you.
