Understanding MMDC's Learning Model: Problems, Projects, and Cases (PPC)

As part of your New Student Orientation, take some time to understand one of the things that makes learning at MMDC different: our Problems, Projects, and Cases (PPC) learning model.

At MMDC, learning goes beyond studying concepts and remembering information. Throughout your courses, you will encounter realistic problems, projects, and cases designed to help you develop and apply what you learn.

Through PPC, your learning experience is designed to develop three important areas:

• Skills & Thinking — developing your ability to navigate and solve complex scenarios and challenges;
• Routines & Procedures — building your ability to perform tasks effectively by becoming familiar with the tools, processes, and methods used in practice; and
• Habits & Values — developing the attitudes, behaviors, and professional practices that are important for succeeding in your field.
