Your Official MMDC Learner Google Account
Your official MMDC Google account follows this format:
The prefix "lr." stands for learner.
|
📌 Note: This is different from your personal Gmail account. Your MMDC account is issued and managed by the institution and should be used for all academic-related access. |
Single Sign-on (SSO)
Single Sign-on (SSO) simplifies the login process for users by allowing them to sign in once and gain access to multiple applications. With SSO, you can seamlessly log in to your learning tools without the need to repeatedly enter your username and password. Google SSO specifically enhances your experience when using learning tools, as you can utilize your MMDC account to access these tools.
For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome, as it allows you to save your MMDC login information securely. As part of your suite of learning tools, My Camu also utilizes SSO for authentication, in addition to the login credentials provided by My Camu itself. This streamlines the login process and ensures convenient access to your My Camu account.
Why This Matters
Most MMDC systems rely on Google Single Sign-On (SSO). This means that if you are logged in using the wrong Google account, you may encounter access errors—even if your username and password are correct.
Using your MMDC-issued Google account correctly ensures:
Seamless access to Camu
Proper syncing of your learning tools
Fewer login and permission issues
Faster resolution of support concerns
