Who says LDRs don’t work?! 🤨
If there is one thing that MMDC Mentors consistently prove, it’s that distance – digital or otherwise – is not a barrier in fostering a caring and thriving learning community!
Through the dedication and guidance of your mentors, you have experienced how meaningful, supportive, and engaging learning can be, even from a distance. Just last week, you nominated the mentors who stood out the most for the first-ever Outstanding Mentor for Growth (OMG) Award! Despite the digital divide, these mentors lead thought-provoking discussions, share relevant industry know-how, and impart practical work skills for their students.
After reading your responses sent with heartfelt enthusiasm and filled with inspiring stories, we are proud to present your very first Outstanding Mentors for Growth (OMG) Awardees!
GE OMG Awardee: Mentor Mark Paulo Tanjente
BA OMG Awardee: Mentor Jocelyn Abad
IT OMG Awardee: Mentor Aldrin John Tamayo
Congratulations to our dear OMG Awardees! 🥳
The stories behind the awardees, including your nominees (Yes, we have already sent your personal messages to them! 😉), remind us that great mentorship can transform learning, spark confidence, and inspire growth, even across distances.
We know that these mentors represent just a few of the many dedicated educators who make learning at MMDC rigorous but at the same time fun and genuinely worthwhile. We honor and thank all mentors who have shown commitment, compassion, and consistency to our learners!
May this recognition continue to motivate our entire community to keep raising the bar for what distance learning must be.
Now, let’s keep an eye on who can be the next OMG Award recipient! 💪
