Beginning Term 1 of School Year 2026–2027, MMDC students will gain access to enhanced opportunities that support global exposure, employability, and lifelong learning.These enhancements include internationalization initiatives through Mapúa’s partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) and expanded access to industry-recognized learning opportunities through Coursera. To support these enhancements, corresponding fees will be introduced beginning Term 1, SY 2026–2027.Please note that there will be no increase in tuition fees and miscellaneous fees.The new fees are designed to support enhancements that strengthen MMDC's commitment to providing learners with a future-ready education and helping graduates become more competitive in an increasingly global and digital workforce.
New Enhancements and Fees Starting Term 1, SY 2026–2027
Internationalization Fee
₱90.00 per term
Through Mapúa's partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), students will benefit from initiatives that bring global standards and international learning opportunities into the MMDC experience.
This includes:
- Access to globally benchmarked curriculum frameworks embedded into courses
- Opportunities connected to ASU's global learning content and pathways
- Engagement with international experts, guest lecturers, and collaborative learning experiences
- Enhanced research, projects and capstone opportunities with greater global visibility
These initiatives are intended to ensure that MMDC learners gain exposure to global perspectives while remaining grounded in industry-relevant and future-focused learning.
Micro-Credentialing Fee
₱1,360.00 per term
As part of MMDC's commitment to employability and career readiness, students will continue to gain access to Coursera through Mapúa's partnership with the platform.
Students may already be familiar with Coursera through content and materials embedded within their degree programs. Beginning SY 2026–2027, the Micro-Credentialing Fee will formally support, sustain and expand this access to micro-credentials.
Through Coursera, students can:
- Complete employer-recognized micro-credentials integrated into their academic journey
- Earn industry-relevant certificates that complement their degree
- Explore thousands of courses across business, technology, data, leadership, communication, design, and other fields
- Pursue additional learning based on personal interests, career goals, or upskilling needs
- Strengthen their employability through practical and job-relevant skills valued by employers
Beyond coursework requirements, students are encouraged to maximize their access to Coursera's extensive catalog to support lifelong learning and professional growth.

No. There is no increase in tuition fees and miscellaneous fees for School Year 2026–2027.

This allows students to complement their degree with industry-relevant learning and credentials that can strengthen their portfolios and employability.
