This guide contains important information regarding the August 20, 2026 27th Commencement Exercises, including attendance confirmation, guest tickets, graduation photos, release of academic documents, and other important reminders.
Please read this guide carefully and complete the required forms within the specified deadlines.

Important
All participating graduates must be at the PICC graduates' assembly area no later than 1:00 PM.
Late arrivals may not be accommodated in the graduation procession.
Required: Attendance Confirmation
If you have not yet confirmed your participation in the August 20, 2026 Commencement Exercises, please complete the Commencement Attendance Confirmation Form.
Confirmation period has been extended until August 3, 2026 (Monday).
This allows the College to finalize the list of graduates participating in the ceremony and complete the necessary commencement preparations.

Dress Code
Please observe the official graduation dress code.
Ladies
- Formal dress or blouse and skirt (knee-length and not longer than the toga)
- Dark-colored formal pants (no leggings or tights) with a formal/ decent blouse
- Closed shoes
Gentlemen
- Long-sleeved collared shirt with necktie
- Formal Barong (long-sleeved, preferable white or beige in color)
- Black or dark-colored formal pants
- Black leather shoes
Revealing attire is not permitted.
Complimentary Guest Tickets
Each participating graduate will receive:
- Two (2) complimentary guest tickets
- One (1) souvenir program/ Invitation
You may claim your complimentary tickets through any of the following options:

Requesting Additional Guest Tickets
Graduates who wish to request additional guest tickets may do so by completing the Additional Guest Ticket Request Form below.

Additional guest tickets are priced at ₱250.00 per ticket.
At this time, each graduate may request up to two (2) additional guest tickets. This initial allocation is intended to give all graduates an equal opportunity to request additional tickets.
After the initial request period, MMDC will assess ticket availability. If additional tickets remain available, we will issue another announcement between August 17 and August 19, 2026 informing graduates whether further ticket requests may be accommodated.
Requests for additional tickets will be accepted only through the Additional Guest Ticket Request Form.
Payment Information
The payment process for approved additional ticket requests will be announced separately. Please wait for further instructions before making any payment.
Graduation Photos During the Ceremony
To provide official graduation photography services during the August 20, 2026 Commencement Exercises, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (MMCL) has engaged Sunflores Photo Studio as the official event photographer.
Graduates may sign up for photography packages directly with Sunflores during:
- August 14, 2026 at MMCL, or
- August 20, 2026 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
Guidelines:
- The purchase of photography services is a private transaction between the graduate (or their representative) and Sunflores Photo Studio. MMDC and MMCL are not responsible for the fulfillment of photography orders, package delivery, or other arrangements made between the graduate and the service provider.
- Please secure an official receipt to substantiate your order/ claim.
- For your security, please transact only with Sunflores Photo Studio, the official photographer authorized for the Commencement Exercises. Be cautious of individuals claiming to offer official graduation photography services within or around the venue.
Diploma
The actual diploma will be distributed during the graduation ceremony and are issued
only ONCE. Requests for duplicate diplomas may also be submitted beginning August 21, 2026, subject to the applicable documentary requirements and institutional procedures.
Release of Transcript of Records (TOR)
MMDC graduates may claim their personal copy of their Transcript of Records (TOR)
Beginning August 20, 2026
Immediately after the Commencement Exercises. The exact claiming location within the PICC will be announced through your MMDC Learner Email.
Graduates who are unable to claim their TOR at the PICC may do so beginning:
August 21, 2026 at the Registrar's Office of Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna.
This TOR is your personal copy. If you need a TOR copy for other purposes (Board Exam, employment, evaluation for further studies, etc.) you may request for separate copy/ies, subject to appropriate fees.
Parents and Guests
1. Upon entering PICC, parents should go directly to the Plenary Hall, while the graduates proceed to the registration and assembly area at the Second Floor.
2. Parents and graduates will no longer have the chance to meet until after the ceremonies as the processional of graduates has a different entry point.
3. All participants of the Commencement Exercises are requested to observe proper decorum during the ceremonies.
All must be properly seated and remain seated during the following parts of the program:
- Processional
- Before, during, and after the Commencement Address of the Guest of Honor
While at their respective seats, all must stand during the following:
- Prayer/ Dedication, and National Anthem
4. The area reserved for the graduates will be "off-limits" to parents and guests.
5. There will be designated areas for 'picture-taking' before and after the graduation rites.
PICC House Rules
The following guidelines are to be followed inside the PICC:
- The Center strictly enforces the maximum capacity of each rented facility as mandated by law.
- Appropriate attire shall be required for entry in PICC. Absolutely no wearing shorts/slippers/undershirt (sando).

Bringing in and conducting the following are strictly prohibited.
- Drugs and all other forms of contraband
- Deadly weapons and objects
- Food and Beverage (other than those served and prepared by the PICC Caterer)
- Loitering, Sleeping, Smoking, Gambling, Cooking
- Pets
- Children below seven (7) years old are not allowed entry to events that do not involve children.
- Cellular phones and two-way radios must be turned to silent mode inside Meeting Rooms and Halls where events are going on as these interfere with the sound system.
- Only authorized photographers will be allowed inside PICC to take pictures during ceremonies.
- PICC shall exercise full authority within its premises and reserves the right to control, regulate, inspect, refuse entry to, or prohibit any person as well as materials considered inimical to or which constitute violation of Philippine laws, and PICC rules and regulations.
