Overview
Graduation clearance is the final verification process that confirms each candidate for graduation has completed all academic, administrative, financial, and institutional requirements prior to the final Conferral/ Commencement Exercises.
To support MMDC's fully online learning environment, the graduation clearance process has been designed so that students can complete the required clearances remotely, without the need to visit the campus or coordinate separately with multiple offices. Throughout the clearance period, the Records Team under MMDC's Student Affairs will facilitate the processing of each candidate's graduation clearance and coordinate directly with the concerned offices on your behalf.
Should any outstanding requirement or deficiency be identified during the review, you will be contacted through your MMDC Learner Email with the necessary instructions to complete the requirement within the clearance period.

How the MMDC Graduation Clearance Process Works
For this graduation cycle, the MMDC Records Team will facilitate the processing of each candidate's graduation clearance.
The names of all candidates for graduation have already been endorsed to the concerned offices for review. Each office is currently evaluating student records and verifying the completion of graduation requirements.
You do not need to initiate the clearance process or personally coordinate with each office.
Your responsibility is to ensure that you have completed all applicable graduation requirements listed below and to promptly respond if you are contacted regarding any outstanding requirement or deficiency.
The graduation clearance process will follow these steps:
- The Records Team initiates your graduation clearance.
- The concerned offices review your records and verify the completion of their respective requirements.
- If no deficiencies are identified, your clearance proceeds to the next office.
- If an outstanding requirement or deficiency is identified, the Records Team will contact you through your MMDC Learner Email with instructions on how to complete it.
- All identified deficiencies and remaining requirements must be completed within the official graduation clearance period.
- Once all offices have confirmed completion of their respective requirements, the Records Team will finalize your graduation clearance.
- At the end of the clearance period, all candidates will receive an update regarding the status of their graduation clearance.
To avoid delays, please monitor your MMDC Learner Email regularly throughout the clearance period.
