It is important to inform MMDC of your planned leave so MMDC can keep your academic records on hand, and your accounts secured in the database. This will also allow a quick and easy return process.
Types of Leave of Absence
- Term Leave (Term LOA): A leave of absence lasting 1 term, which requires notifying MMDC.
- Extended Leave (Extended LOA): A leave of absence of at least 2 terms, which requires submitting a formal application and a fee.
Term LOA
1. Notify MMDC of your intention to take a short-term leave. This can typically be done by

Extended LOA
1. Complete the Application for Leave of Absence form.
2. Pay the processing fee of P50 via MMDC's payment channels.
3. Submit the form and the proof of payment to the Integrated advising team, via email, or via a ticket.
